My name is Jessica and I live in Gothenburg on Sweden’s westcoast and I make (mostly) cards on my free time to relax. And, of course, to make the days happier for the persons who receives the cards!
I’ve always been creative – writing, drawing, painting in watercolor – so when my sister got me started on scrapbooking I was hooked from day one in a mysterious way.
I started off my career as a paper + glue + scissors enthusiast when my sister pulled me in one evening at her kitchen table in 2006. I wondered what she was doing, and she tried to explain it: “What Scrapbooking Are All About”. Photos on patterned paper… OMG! Booooring. But for lack of doing anything better I sat down on her command.
We started talking about things over coffee and suddenly, poundering about the layout, I noticed something. This was relaxing and the table was in a totally mess. Fascinating.
A few hours later and I was totally hooked. I blame it on the glue. From scrapbooking, documenting childhood and travels I am now a pure card maker. I started this blog more for myself and an inspiration, I hope, for others.
